Typical Daily Schedule
Preschoolers: 3 – 5 years old
(The Below is a general typical day, not the specific for a given child)
 
VIP Cottage curriculum has been developed by our Executive Director, an accredited child care educator, and kindergarten/preschool teacher affiliates that have been teaching small children for many years. The program has been designed to encourage exploration and embrace all the different ways that children excel, while preparing these "Little Einsteins" for Kindergarten and beyond..... 
 
Your Little Einstein's Day
 
7:30a.m. — Breakfast [e.g. oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, cereal, eggs, fruit cups, begals, milk]
8:00 a.m. — Bye Bye mommy.  Time to join my new buddies and play.
9:15 a.m. — Morning Circle time: Lets say hello to everyone, assign buddies for the day, hear the morning news, go around the circle and discuss words that begin with our letter for the week, P and read our first book of the day together.
10:05a.m. — Morning Snack Yummy [e.g. begals, fruit cups]
10:15 a.m. — Playdo sculptures or draw a picture adding different materials, play in he indoor sand box, boy cotton looks like clouds. 
10:40 a.m. — Out doors, Yah! Lets clime through our obstacal course, hot potato or kids twister.
11:10 a.m. — Building blocks and what was that- an imagination box.  Practicing sorting and stacking while playing and learning e.g. LEGO.
11:30 p.m. —  Story Time.  Your child's favorite story.  How about telling us all.  Oh, the imagination!
12:00 p.m. — Lunch [e.g. Chicken, Broccolli, fuit cup, milk] 
12:35 p.m. —Nap time!
3:00 p.m. — Afternoon circle time.  
3:30 p.m. — How about a nice afternoon walk, snow fight, or just plane playgound fun.
4:00 p.m. — Afternoon Snack[e.g. 1/2 PB&J, 1/2 Tuna sandwich, juicy juice] 
4:10 p.m. —  Major activity time.  Optional, dancing, swimming, Tae Kwando for ages 4+ on Wednesdays and more. 
5:15 p.m. — Time to go.  Wow, what a day!
 
Note: Regular outings to local children's museums, nature centers, etc
