We know that it is not easy for us to leave our baby son in the hands of other people to take care of him while we are at work. That is why we were careful in our selection of childcare for him. We picked VIP Cottage-The Little Peoples Place Child Day Care for our son because it is small and it reminds us of still being at home even though it is not our house. We believe that a baby should not be placed in a large daycare facility where his or her needs may not be tended to because of it having a lot of children there.

Remember that babies can not talk but they can express emotions when they are comfortable, not happy, or in distress. We can attest that all the children who attend VIP Cottage-The Little Peoples Place Child Day Care seem to be happy to be there and do not cry when their parents are leaving them there and picking them up. That is a good sign because it shows that the children feel safe and secure.

 

We have to say that all of the staff there are wonderful. They provide our son with individualized attention as well as age appropriate activities to keep him engaged throughout the day. Our one year old son has benefited socially and educationally from this daycare. He knows how to walk; to eat table food; to interact with other children; and to hold a book and to turn the pages as if he could read.
